Make A Difference

There are many ways that you can make a difference in the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired. Sensory Access Foundation (SAF) depends on the support of people like you so we can provide opportunities for employment for adults who face the challenges of vision loss.

Consider A Financial Donation

Your financial support will assist us in providing the very best in programs and services to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. You can double the value of your gift by making a donation to SAF’s annual matching fund program from October 1st to December 31st each year. Contributions may be mailed to Sensory Access Foundation, 1142 West Evelyn Avenue, Sunnyvale, California 94086, Attention: Development Department. Credit card donations may be made by phone at 408.245.7330.

Participate In Our Signature Event

Sensory Access Foundation’s Corporate and Community Leadership Breakfast has become a major annual event. The keynote speaker list reads like a “Who’s, Who” in the world of technology. The list includes Lew Platt, Chairman, President & CEO of Hewlett-Packard; John Chambers, President & CEO, Cisco; Dr. William Davidow, Chairman, Rambus; Bill Gates, Chairman, Microsoft Corporation; Jerry Yang, Chief Yahoo! of Yahoo!; Frank Quattrone, Head of Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group; and Paul S. Otellini, President & Chief Operating Officer, Intel Corporation. This event salutes individuals and corporations who have opened the doors of opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired. Proceeds for this event assist in supporting our many programs and services.

Offering the gift of your time is a wonderful way to make a difference. At SAF, volunteer opportunities include Event Assistant, Job Club Speaker, Mass Mailing Volunteer, BAC Member, Special Projects Volunteer, and a variety of other rewarding activities. Please contact SAF’s Development Department.

Consider A Planned Gift

Planned giving or a donation through wills, bequests, and other charitable trusts is a tremendous way to support the work of SAF. Leaving a legacy for generations to come will truly change the life of someone who is blind or visually impaired. For more information, please contact your estate planner.
