Dorothy Ford Technical Evaluation Lab

The Dorothy Ford Technical Evaluation Lab contains state-of-the-art access technology hardware and software for performing technical evaluations and for conducting public demonstrations during SAF’s monthly lab tour. From closed circuit televisions (CCTVs) and 21” flat panel monitors to Braille displays and note takers, the lab contains the latest tools available to assist individuals who are blind or visually impaired to work competitively. Other low-tech tools are also available, from lighting to hand-held magnifiers.

Tours of the lab are conducted the first Friday of every month from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
